Happy Christmas Adam

I love Christmas Adam!  It's my favorite of all the holidays, do you want to know why?  It is so calm.  There is no stress and no noise and knowing Kyle will be off work for the next two days means we can stay up late snuggling by the fire and watching movies and just talking...glorious!

We don't go all out for Christmas.  The end of the year is always tight on our budget and honestly our kids don't need anything (well maybe some diapers), with that being said we do like to have at least one thing for them to open Christmas morning.

Here it is
our bountiful pile of presents.
We actually gave each kid $10 and took them to Ikea to pick out there own gift, it worked out well they have pretty good taste.  You, dear reader, will have to wait two more days to see what they picked.

What I got for Christmas was a NEW HOUSE...what!?!?!  Our first house in Rock Hill, SC.  I will have a more detailed post on that later, but since we are getting a new house that is going to cost just a little more than half of what we are paying in rent we finally have a little wiggle room in our budget.  Which is how we got our second present...

A brand new T.V.

Kyle and I pulled a T.V. out of someone's trash two years ago and it's been slowly dying ever since.  We finally threw it out in our trash and bought a new samsung 32" t.v. from target for $200!  It's really nice and I kind of love watching it.  Anyway it's will be beautiful in my new home!

About Us.

Okay I know it looks bad that I have already skipped two days of posting, but I was working on something, I promise.

I made an "about us" page!  Hop on over there and read about us and if you want to know more let me know.

A new start and a new start.

A new start:  blogging once again.  Third times the charm, right?  I  suppose I never felt like I had much to say but I was wrong.  I have been saying things all along, but now I'm going to write them and I don't know where this is going to go and I may have only one reader (hey babe, I love you) but I am determined to do this.
.
A new start:  moving to South Carolina and to Rock Hill and to Pickens Street.  To document the journey of owning our very first home and the trials that are sure to come with it.  It will be exciting and exhausting and I don't want to forget a minute of it.

So... if anyone does read this here we are at the very humble beginnings and awkwardly I sign off
